Audio recording of Altaş, detained in the US as part of the Gülistan Doku investigation, emerges: I will leave the killer in your hands
An audio recording of a phone call made from a police station by Umut Altaş, who was the subject of an Interpol red notice in the Gülistan Doku case and was detained in the US, has emerged. In the recording, Altaş says, "I will tell the prosecutor everything I know. I will leave the killer in your hands."
As part of the investigation into the disappearance of Gülistan Doku, a second-year Child Development student at Munzur University who has been missing in Tunceli since January 5, 2020, 12 of the 15 suspects detained were arrested, while judicial control measures were imposed on 3 others.
An Interpol red notice had also been issued for the fugitive suspect Umut Altaş, who was in the US.
Altaş made a statement to a press organization for the first time this morning, stating that he wanted this case to be resolved once and for all.

In the recording, Altaş said, "I will tell the prosecutor everything I know.

I want the necessary authorities from the Republic of Turkey to reach me.
I am currently at a police station in America. They are going to send me back to Turkey.
I have the proof of everything in my hands. I will leave the killer in your hands."
