Refuting the claims that Tezcan had a heart attack, CHP Aydın Deputy Süleyman Bülbül announced that Tezcan had experienced food poisoning.
In a post on social media, Bülbül stated, "The news circulating regarding the health status of our Aydın Deputy Bülent Tezcan is not true. He has had a simple case of food poisoning. His health condition is quite good. I convey my best wishes for a speedy recovery."

CHP Aydın Deputy Bülent Tezcan had stated in a post at 11:53 that he was visiting the Didim Municipality.
