CHP leader Özgür Özel announces the number of signatures collected for İmamoğlu! 'We are conducting a historic campaign..'
CHP leader Özgür Özel announced the latest status of the signature campaign organized for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is currently imprisoned in Silivri Prison, during his party's 'Defending the National Will' rally in Antalya.
Following the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu on March 23 on corruption charges, the latest stop for the rallies organized by the CHP under the slogan 'Defending the National Will' was Antalya.
Delivering important messages at the rally, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel announced the latest status of the signature campaign launched for the release of the imprisoned IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and for early elections.
Stating that they are conducting the largest signature campaign in their history, Özel said, “I am announcing it from here. Our number of signatures has exceeded 15 million, exceeded 17 million, and is approaching 20 million. We are very close to reaching our goal. But now it is up to you to find those who have not signed, talk to them, deliver the forms to them, convince them, and encourage them. I am saying this to everyone who hears my voice: I invite those who have not signed to sign, and if they have already signed, to take a relative to sign as well.”
