CHP's Murat Emir reacts to 'Trump's thank you to Erdoğan' message: Phone calls are being made to have it deleted
The message in which US President Donald Trump thanked AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, and which he deleted shortly after, continues to be a topic of discussion among CHP figures.
As a new one is added every day to the intimate messages between the two leaders, a message in which Trump thanked AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan recently became a major talking point.
While the words US President Trump used in quotation marks in his post sparked debate, it was notable that Donald Trump deleted the message shortly after.
CHP's Murat Emir also shared the message in question on his page and expressed the following reaction:
"Trump tweets to the world, 'Erdoğan told me I am an admirer, you are a symbol of power.' The ruling wing, unable to issue a single official denial, has the Directorate of Communications' whisper pens tweet that 'Ankara conveyed that it was not so,' and phone calls are being made to have it deleted.
Those who set up a judicial theater inside against the will of the people with the March 19 and 'Absolute Nullity' coups are seeking the legitimacy they have lost at Trump's door.
This is the submissiveness of those who act like lions against their own people and pay their seat debt to Trump with the independence of the Republic of Turkey. Legitimacy is not obtained from the White House, but from the nation!"
