CHP's YSK representative removed from office by Kılıçdaroğlu: Yakupoğlu had filed the appeal
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP Chairmanship "as a precautionary measure" following a court ruling of "absolute nullity," has removed CHP's Supreme Election Council (YSK) representative Mehmet Hadimi Yakupoğlu from his post.
The Supreme Election Council (YSK) had rejected the appeal filed by the CHP against the "absolute nullity" and preliminary injunction decision of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice 36th Civil Chamber; YSK President Serdar Mutta, in his statement regarding the rejection, announced that the decision was taken unanimously and that the reasoning for the decision would be explained later.
Noting that the petition submitted under the signature of Lawyer Kadri Gökhan Sultan, whom Kılıçdaroğlu appointed as the party's lawyer, included requests that "Mehmet Hadimi Yakupoğlu's duty as YSK representative had been terminated by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and therefore his applications before the council should not be taken into consideration," Mutta stated that "it was ruled that there was no need to make a separate decision regarding this request due to the 'rejection' decision given regarding the initial application."

Yakupoğlu had filed the YSK application
Following the "absolute nullity" decision issued by the Ankara Regional Court of Justice regarding the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, CHP's Supreme Election Council (YSK) Representative Mehmet Hadimi Yakupoğlu had filed an application with the YSK.
The document signed by Kılıçdaroğlu stated that the appointment and assignment process of Yakupoğlu, which had been made previously, was terminated.
