CHP's future events to target Erdoğan-era Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality: Corruption allegations

As the CHP prepares to hold its 39th Ordinary Congress at the end of the month, party officials say that operations against the party, the summaries of proceedings filed to lift the immunity of deputies, or the indictment prepared against their presidential candidate İmamoğlu will not affect their current agenda.

Stating that the rallies the CHP holds every Wednesday in an Istanbul district and every weekend in a different province of Turkey will continue, officials report that CHP leader Özgür Özel will be in Kilis this Sunday. It is also noted that planning is underway for the introductory meeting for the party's new program, which is expected to be held next week.

According to the report by Sarp Sağkal from Cumhuriyet, it is stated that the party's congress, to be held on November 28-30, will feature slogans themed around "power and justice," alongside an emphasis on the struggle against recent operations. In this context, it is reported that several slogans have been presented to CHP leader Özel and are currently being evaluated.

"ERDOĞAN ERA TO BE BROUGHT TO THE AGENDA"

It is stated that in its future events, the CHP will bring back to the agenda certain corruption allegations discussed during the period when the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) was under the administration of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and that these will be shared with the public again accompanied by footage from that era.
