In a statement made on its social media account, the National Cyber Incident Response Center (USOM) extended its best wishes to citizens affected by the earthquake in Istanbul and recorded the following:
"It is observed that there is congestion in communication networks following the Istanbul-Silivri centered earthquake. In such situations, it is of great importance to prefer internet-based calling applications to ensure communication is not disrupted."
