In his post on his social media account, Duran recalled that 36 of the Turkish citizens who were part of the Global Sumud Flotilla arrived in Turkey via a Turkish Airlines (THY) flight, along with citizens of other countries.
Stating that the remaining citizens would also be brought to Turkey shortly, Burhanettin Duran said, "On this occasion, I once again salute the sensitivity, courage, and determination of the Global Sumud Flotilla participants, who are the voice of the global conscience and have created significant awareness regarding Gaza."
