Concrete mixer overturns in Bahçelievler! Traffic comes to a standstill
A concrete mixer overturned on the Basın Ekspres side road in Bahçelievler, causing traffic to grind to a halt. While the driver sustained minor injuries in the accident, the resulting traffic jam was captured from the air by a drone.
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred in the morning hours on the side road of the Basın Ekspres road in the direction of Mahmutbey in Bahçelievler. The concrete mixer with license plate 34 GSN 284, driven by Ramazan Begik, lost control while failing to navigate a curve and overturned onto the side road.
While the driver, Begik, was slightly injured in the accident, he received initial medical intervention at the scene by emergency teams. Following the accident, the side road was closed to traffic as a security precaution.
Due to the accident, heavy traffic occurred on the Basın Ekspres road in the direction of Mahmutbey, and long queues of vehicles formed. Work has been initiated to reopen the road to traffic as soon as possible.
On the other hand, the overturned concrete mixer and the resulting traffic congestion were captured from the air.
