DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları: 'Our campaigns and efforts will continue until our friends are free'
Tülay Hatimoğulları, Co-Chair of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), stated regarding the prison sentences handed down in the case concerning the October 6-8, 2014, Kobani protests: 'Our campaigns and efforts will continue until our friends are free.'
Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları met with DBP Co-Chairs Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar, Keskin Bayındır, and party members in front of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Provincial Headquarters.
Speaking on behalf of the participants who marched from there to Station Square, Hatimoğulları stated that the verdict in the Kobani case is null and void for them.
Expressing that they do not recognize the verdict, Hatimoğulları noted the following:
"We believe that we will liberate our friends through the joint struggle we will carry out as soon as possible. We will continue to stand tall. Just as you have been worthy of our peoples, we will continue our struggle to be worthy of our peoples. Our campaigns and efforts will continue until our friends are free."
