DEM Party's response to Dervişoğlu was not delayed: 'Those who feed on war and...'

The tension between the İYİ Party and the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), which began with a debate over a "process," is becoming increasingly severe.

Following the tension in the General Assembly of Parliament yesterday, İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made harsh remarks directed at the DEM Party during his party's group meeting today. The response to these statements was not delayed.

DEM Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan used the following expressions in a post on her X account, tagging both the İYİ Party and Dervişoğlu:

"You are merchants of 'national sensitivities.'

Blood, war, and death are your compass.

You are pathetic people who feed on war and mistake this for political fortune.

You are cowards who fear that peace is possible.

As your fear grows, your hatred increases, and your mask falls off.

We will bring peace, brotherhood, and democracy to this country in spite of you."

WHAT DID DERVİŞOĞLU SAY?

İYİ Party leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu had targeted the DEM Party during his party's group meeting today, using the following expressions:

"As if they have never been involved in terrorism. You are an extension of a terrorist organization! You are at least as base and sellouts as they are. Their leader is a murderer, their spokespeople are vulgar, their minds are rented, their souls are for sale, their minds are blood, their words are treason, their residence is Kandil, and their compass is Imralı—these are the base ones. If you asked them, they would almost say, 'We did democracy for our 50 years of massacres, and we spent the money we earned from drug trafficking for peace.'"
