Drug operation! It is the 3rd largest amount of cocaine ever seized

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced the details of the drug operations that were carried out.

Yerlikaya stated the following:

"In the 'NARKOÇELİK-11' operations conducted against an 'International Drug' organized crime group led by Danı Talal Awad Abushanap, a national of Lebanon and Venezuela, in 3 provinces centered in Kocaeli, a total of;

608 kilograms of cocaine and 827 kilograms and 500 grams of precursor chemicals used in the production of drugs were seized! In the operations, 13 suspects, including the leader of the organized crime group and 4 foreign nationals, were apprehended! The amount of cocaine seized in the NARKOÇELİK-11 operation is the '3rd largest amount of cocaine' ever captured in a single operation in Turkey by the General Directorate of Security."
