Fire in a 4-story building in Maltepe: 15 people evacuated
A fire that broke out at an apartment hotel in Maltepe caused panic. Flames rising from the second floor of the 4-story building sent residents into the street, but the fire was extinguished thanks to the rapid intervention of firefighting crews. There were no casualties in the incident, and 15 people were safely evacuated.
The incident occurred around 05:30 in a building located on Bağdat Street in the Feyzullah neighborhood. According to the information received, flames and smoke began to rise for an unknown reason from the second floor of the 4-story building, which is used as an apartment hotel. Due to the fire, local residents and those inside the building poured into the street in a panic.
FIRE EXTINGUISHED AFTER INTENSIVE EFFORTS
Upon notification, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire was extinguished as a result of the intensive efforts of the firefighting crews, and it was learned that there were no deaths or injuries in the incident. While approximately 15 people in the apartment hotel were evacuated with the help of firefighters and officials, some individuals were seen exiting with their pets.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
