First comment from the Palace on the terrorist organization PKK's decision to withdraw from Turkey! Striking remarks on DEM Party

A critical development has occurred in the new reconciliation process, which began with the call of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, is referred to by the government as a 'Terror-Free Turkey,' and is being conducted with the DEM Party and terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The terrorist organization PKK has announced that it is withdrawing from Turkey. The first comment on this decision has come from the Palace.

Responding to questions from Talat Atilla on Tv100, Oktay Saral, Chief Advisor to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, said, "It is a positive step as an indicator of the withdrawal process, which we call the second step in the Terror-Free Turkey process, which also includes Northern Iraq, and that it will no longer operate in Turkey."

Saral noted the following during the program:

"The PKK's actual complete dissolution, its total self-destruction, is necessary because countries—Syria, Iraq, and Turkey—are independent states that must proceed with state wisdom, even from Northern Iraq, Syria, Iran, or other places where they are stationed. We know that the source of these elements is always outside. The PKK is an organization that has had the noose put around its neck by America, Israel, and certain Western powers, and acts according to the 'Arz-ı Mevud' (Promised Land) scenario; even the deaf sultan knows this. There is no need to speak differently. But this is also important; this is also a correct step.

STRIKING REMARKS ON DEM: IF THERE IS SABOTAGE, WE WILL DO WHAT IS NECESSARY

I hope that the DEM Party, in order not to damage this process and not to undermine it, will ensure that what is written and drawn leads to a point that relieves all our people and their conscience; we hope the process concludes in the best way possible. If there is any sabotage, we are the Republic of Turkey; we are not a banana republic. We are a great country, a great state. We will do what is necessary."

Our MIT Undersecretary, our Minister of Foreign Affairs, and our Speaker of Parliament are also involved in this matter. We are, of course, a social state that embraces our people in the Southeast, our public, the state's compassionate side, and all its people, keeping them all in its embrace and viewing them as first-class citizens. We do not distinguish between 'this one' or 'that one.' This is already the existence of our President in his political life. To embrace all people, to love all people, as long as one is good, beautiful, right, useful, and adheres to the point of rights and law. This is our basic principle, but as the Republic of Turkey, we are following this process with the precision of a master jeweler. We are warning and cautioning the other side so that this process is not undermined and that no trouble is caused to this process.

Of course, we are taking all kinds of precautions against the possibility of them operating under these names—YPG, PYD, or SDG—in other countries as well. I think the state will do what is necessary with all its power anyway.

There is nothing beyond this, and there is nothing else to be done. I hope and wish that our people in the Southeast and our Kurdish citizens understand how well-intentioned we are, that the bloodshed must stop, and that we must move toward our goals and the country's future together; I believe they are in this state of realization and consciousness.

"BE SMART"

If, despite these warnings, saying 'we will do what is necessary' means that Turkey will demonstrate the power of the Republic of Turkey with every institution, organization, and force it has, period, there is nothing beyond that.

In other words, be smart; follow and abide by what is said and these sentences that have been put under control, and repent for your life from now on. If you really care about the Kurds, if Kurdish citizens are really going to have a place in your life, if your existence is for their happiness, then be silent, sit down, and believe in the mercy and compassion of the Republic of Turkey, show this, and prove your maturity; then see what positive beauties will emerge in your life."
