Food parcel left at the office of Bülent Arınç, who told Hamas 'We even send your food!' Striking note...

Former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Bülent Arınç had criticized Hamas following the outbreak of clashes between Hamas and Israel, reacting with the words, "What power do you have? We even send your food from the outside." Following these remarks by Arınç, a food parcel was left at his office.

"TELL US AND WE WILL RETURN IT ALL"

The parcel, left by the Anadolu Youth Association (AGD) Ankara Branch, contained a note stating, ''Tell us how much food and aid you have sent to Palestine and Gaza, and we will return it all.''

WHAT HAPPENED?

Arınç had criticized Hamas regarding the war between Israel and Hamas, saying, “I tell them every time, the mistake is here; what power do you have? We even send your food from the outside, we meet your technical equipment and needs from the outside. You fire 2 makeshift missiles, it sounds like a fly buzzing in Israel, but they say ‘Hamas attacked us,’ and they rain bombs on you. You are the one who suffers, and you give them a justification. Why are you doing this? What is our interest here? They don't listen.”
