The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has identified new non-compliant honey products during inspections conducted as part of its reliable food policy. Following the determination of imitation and adulteration practices that could be harmful to health, the Ministry updated the list and announced three brands to the public.

MINISTRY UPDATED THE LIST

According to the information provided by the Ministry, it was stated that imitation or adulteration was definitively detected in products belonging to three honey brands as a result of laboratory tests. Following the inspections, the brands Ravza Bal, Ecegün, and Asbal were added to the current “imitation-adulteration list.”

NON-COMPLIANCE DETECTED IN THREE DIFFERENT BRANDS

The products and company information on the list shared with the public by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on December 1, 2025, were included as follows:

Imitation or adulteration was detected in the Ravza Bal brand's Ravza Bal Strained Flower Honey product. The product's Batch/Serial No. was stated as 23.03.2025. It was stated that it is in the beekeeping products group in the Kelkit district of Gümüşhane province.

Imitation or adulteration was determined in the Ecegün branded Strained Flower Honey product. It was announced that the product, with Batch/Serial No. HST 2023 0507, is in the beekeeping products category in the Akyurt district of Ankara.

Imitation or adulteration was detected in the analyses conducted regarding the Asbal brand's 500 g Strained Flower Honey product. It was reported that the product, with Batch/Serial No. B4834, is in the beekeeping products group in the Nilüfer district of Bursa.
