Inheritance dispute in Menzil community reaches the UK: Was there a fake sale? 56 million payment
Following the death of the leader of the Menzil community, inheritance disputes have been taken to court in the UK. Mübarek Elhüseyni is being tried for "qualified fraud" over allegations that he acquired dervish lodge buildings in London and Liverpool for one-fifth of their market value.
The inheritance dispute that erupted following the death of Menzil community leader Abdulbaki Elhüseyni (Abdulbaki Erol) on July 12, 2023, has caused widespread repercussions in Europe. The conflict between his sons Saki Elhüseyni, Fettah Elhüseyni, and Mübarek Elhüseyni has been taken to court not only in Turkey but also in the Netherlands and the UK. The most recent lawsuit filed in the UK has brought serious allegations to light regarding the title deed transfers of the community's dervish lodge buildings in London and Liverpool.
TITLE DEED TRANSFERS OF THE LODGES IN LONDON AND LIVERPOOL
The title deeds for the Menzil community lodges located in London and Liverpool were registered under the name of A.B., nicknamed "Molla Abdurrahman," during the era of Abdulbaki Elhüseyni under the direction of his son, Mübarek Elhüseyni. However, just four months after Abdulbaki Elhüseyni's death, on October 5, 2023, Mübarek Elhüseyni established a London-based company called "Erol Real Estate Limited" and took action to transfer the title deeds in his own favor.
TITLE DEED TRANSFER AND BANK TRANSACTIONS
Mübarek Elhüseyni allegedly pressured Molla Abdurrahman to carry out the title deed transfer and obtained full authority for bank transactions. However, Molla Abdurrahman subsequently revoked this power of attorney and dismissed Mübarek's lawyers.
Following these events, an account was opened at Türkiye Emlak Katılım Bankası through one of the lawyers in Germany without informing Molla Abdurrahman. On the same day, a payment worth 1.025 million British Pounds (56 million TL) was made.
ALLEGATION OF FRAUDULENT SALE
Suspicions arising from the transactions made through Emlak Katılım Bankası prompted the UK court to take action. It is alleged that two lodge buildings worth 5 million British Pounds (277 million TL) were transferred to Mübarek Elhüseyni's company for only 1.025 million British Pounds (56 million TL).

INJUNCTION FROM THE UK COURT
The UK court decided to halt the transaction in question and requested a defense from Mübarek Elhüseyni. In the defense submitted to the court, Mübarek's lawyers stated, "These properties have nothing to do with my father or the Irshad. I bought them all with my own money and they belong entirely to me." However, the court ordered the title deeds to be transferred back to Molla Abdurrahman and decided to initiate a public prosecution against Mübarek Elhüseyni on charges of "qualified fraud."The UK court decided to halt the transaction in question and requested a defense from Mübarek Elhüseyni.
