In the latest list dated April 28, 2025, a notable name appeared alongside many other brands: Ekici Peynir.

The list included the "Ekici Full-Fat Plain Processed Cheese" product belonging to Ekiciler Süt Gıda Tarım Hayvancılık Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., one of Turkey's well-known cheese brands.

Analyses conducted by the Ministry determined that the fat content of this product was low, leading to its inclusion on the list of adulterated products.

Following these developments, a written statement was issued by Ekici Peynir. The company emphasized that the product found to be fraudulent was not produced for grocery stores, but exclusively for mass consumption.
