She had received a life sentence: The latest photo of Yüksel Güran in prison has emerged

The news of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21, 2024, in the village of Tavşantepe in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, dominated the national agenda for days.

While there was no word from the little girl for 20 days, the horrific truth was uncovered on September 10, 2024, as a result of the search efforts.

Narin Güran’s lifeless body was found in the Eğertutmaz Stream, inside a sack buried in the stream bed.

Forensic examination revealed that the young child had been beaten to death. In the investigation launched following the incident, family relationships and information regarding the surroundings were placed under scrutiny.

FAMILY MEMBERS RECEIVED LIFE SENTENCES

As a result of the detailed investigation, Narin’s mother Yüksel Güran, her brother Enes Güran, her uncle Salim Güran, and the family’s neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar were taken into custody. Following the trial conducted for the 4 arrested individuals, the mother, brother, and uncle were sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment.

Neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison for aiding and abetting the crime. The court upheld the sentences, concluding that the murder was committed in a planned manner within the family.

Following the incident, the latest state of mother Yüksel Güran, who was sent to the Erzincan Women’s Closed Prison, has been leaked to the public.
