He decapitated his friend with an axe and threw the head from the roof in Zeytinburnu: Eyewitnesses recount

The incident occurred around 10:30 AM on Şehit Erkan Alyanak Street in the Seyitnizam neighborhood of Istanbul's Zeytinburnu district. 

According to allegations, an argument broke out between two foreign nationals in an attic for an unknown reason.

As the argument escalated, the two began to fight. One of the individuals then killed the other with an axe he had grabbed and cut off his head.

In the horrifying incident, the individual threw his friend's head from the roof. Shortly after, the man jumped into the void in an attempt to commit suicide. While those on the street at the time were shocked by what happened, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. While the injured man was taken to the hospital, the investigation into the incident continues.

"WE THOUGHT IT WAS A BALL"

A cleaning worker named Adil Gürbüz said, "I saw the head hit the ground. We thought it was a ball. We were going to pick it up as trash. I looked and saw blood on the ground. I stepped back. The friend and the axe were right there. He was writhing there. The axe was on the ground. I called the ambulance. The ambulance came and took him away."
