Holiday good news from EGO: Public transport free during Ramadan Feast
The EGO General Directorate has announced that buses, the metro, and ANKARAY in the capital will be free of charge during the Ramadan Feast.
EGO has announced that public transport services will be free of charge throughout the Ramadan Feast.
According to the statement made by the EGO General Directorate, EGO buses, the metro, and ANKARAY will be available for free starting from 06:00 on Sunday, March 30, the first day of the feast, until 24:00 on Tuesday, April 1, the last day of the feast.

Certain arrangements have also been made for the days before and after the feast. EGO buses will continue to operate as paid services on the eve of the feast and on April 2, 3, and 4, which have been included in the administrative leave period following the feast. In addition, to facilitate cemetery visits, a total of 7 buses—4 at Karşıyaka Cemetery, 2 at Sincan-Çimşit Cemetery, and 1 at Ortaköy Cemetery—will operate ring services between 08:00 and 18:00 starting from the eve of the feast.
The EGO General Directorate stated that citizens can access up-to-date departure times and route information for public transport services via the 'EGO CEP’TE' mobile application and the General Directorate's official website.
