Horrific accident in Zeytinburnu! There are injuries...
On the Zeytinburnu E-5 side road, a car was struck from behind by another vehicle while in motion. The impact caused the car to cross the median and crash into a pole. The scene turned chaotic following the accident, leaving 4 people injured, one of them critically.
The accident occurred around 04:30 at the Cevizlibağ location on the E-5 side road in the direction of Edirne in Zeytinburnu. According to allegations, the driver of the car with license plate 34 BOA 64 lost control of the steering wheel and struck the car with license plate 34 ZU 8831, which was moving in front of it, from behind.
Due to the impact, the car with license plate 34 ZU 8831 lost steering control, crossed the median, crashed into a traffic signal pole, and overturned.

The other car was sent spinning across the road. Four people in the two vehicles were injured in the accident. Citizens in the vicinity rushed to help while simultaneously notifying the police, fire department, and medical teams.

Medical teams arriving at the scene provided initial intervention to the injured. The injured were then transported to the hospital by ambulance. It was learned that one of the injured individuals taken to the hospital is in critical condition. Both cars were rendered unusable in the accident.

The E-5 side road was closed to traffic due to the accident. The side road was reopened to traffic after the vehicles involved in the accident were removed with the help of a tow truck.

Police teams have launched an investigation into the accident.
