The National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission, established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) as part of the new resolution process—which began with MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's call to the leader of the separatist terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan, and which the government defines as a "Turkey without terrorism"—held its 5th meeting on August 20.

The commission's agenda includes legal regulations and steps toward laying down arms.

DEM PARTY DELEGATION GOING TO IMRALI

According to reports by Hilal Köylü from Serbestiyet, the Imrali Delegation, consisting of DEM Party Van Deputy Pervin Buldan and DEM Party Mardin Deputy Mithat Sancar, will travel to Imrali Island this week to meet with the imprisoned terrorist Abdullah Öcalan.
