It was noted that the suspect attacked H.M., who had come to the mosque for worship, with a knife.

It was stated that after the attack, H.M. was left on the ground covered in blood and lost his life. The suspect reportedly fled the scene and disappeared.

It was reported that a large-scale investigation was launched by gendarmerie and police teams following the murder. It was noted that the area was secured and the fleeing suspect was apprehended and taken into custody on the road in the Susurluk Outlet area.
