Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 190 suspects were detained in "Narkogüç" (Narco-Power) operations carried out across 34 provinces.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared the details of the operation dubbed "Narkogüç" on his social media account.
In his statement, Yerlikaya noted that operations were conducted in Bursa, Malatya, Istanbul, Hatay, Kilis, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Bitlis, Afyonkarahisar, Kütahya, Konya, Manisa, Antalya, Iğdır, Samsun, Kırıkkale, Yalova, Ağrı, Muğla, Adana, Edirne, Bolu, Batman, Karabük, Siirt, Mardin, Hakkari, Düzce, Kocaeli, Kahramanmaraş, Mersin, Ordu, Zonguldak, and Uşak.
Emphasizing that 190 suspects, including drug traffickers and their subcontracted street dealers, were apprehended in the operations named "Narkogüç," Yerlikaya stated the following:
"I congratulate our heroic gendarmerie and our heroic police who carried out the operations. We will never allow drug dealers to poison our youth, who are our future, and our society."
