Israel protests against President Erdoğan cause tension: 'The incident is being investigated'

Israel protests against President Erdoğan cause tension: 'The incident is being investigated'

While Erdoğan was speaking at the TRT World Forum, a protester protested against him, stating that trade with Israel had not been cut off.

The person to whom Erdoğan replied, "My child, don't be a mouthpiece for the Zionists here," was dragged out by security guards.

A female protester wearing a headscarf was detained by police after shouting, "Why is Azerbaijani oil going to Israel?"

Although the AKP continues to make statements through all channels that trade with Israel has been definitively ended, protests continue among a segment of the public. Perhaps one of the most significant of these protests was directed at President Erdoğan himself during a live broadcast on TRT.

"TENSIONS ARE VERY HIGH AT THE PRESIDENTIAL COMPLEX"

Following this protest against AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, journalist Şaban Sevinç made a notable post on his social media account, mentioning that the protests in question had caused high tension.

Sevinç used the following expressions:

"Tensions are very high at the Presidential Complex…

Erdoğan being protested on TRT due to Israel has caused immense tension at the Complex. As I have learned, the Complex is investigating the incident, asking, 'How did TRT accredit these 4-5 people who protested our President?' Let's see who will take the fall for this."
