Poyraz stated that he was heading to the Istanbul Vatan Police Department following the development.
It was learned that journalist Sedef Kabaş was detained within the scope of an investigation conducted by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of "insulting the President" and "incitement to commit a crime." It was reported that the investigation is ongoing.
