Message from Justice Minister Tunç regarding the building collapse in Konya
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç extended his best wishes to those affected by the building collapse in the Selçuklu district of Konya and expressed his hope that those trapped under the rubble would be rescued as soon as possible.
In a statement on his social media account, Tunç said, "I extend my best wishes to all our citizens affected by the collapse of a 4-story building in the Selçuklu district of Konya.
I hope that our citizens trapped under the rubble will be rescued safe and sound as soon as possible. Search and rescue efforts are continuing uninterrupted by the relevant institutions of our state."
Reminding that a judicial investigation has been launched by the Konya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident that deeply saddened everyone, Tunç stated that one deputy chief public prosecutor and 2 public prosecutors have been assigned to conduct the investigation meticulously.
Tunç prayed to God to protect the country and the nation from all kinds of disasters and accidents.
