It is claimed that within AKP corridors, the abolition of the deputy minister system due to inefficiency and internal factionalism within ministries, and a return to the former undersecretary model, has been brought to the agenda.
A striking claim has emerged from ruling party corridors. It is suggested that preparations for a significant change are underway within the AKP due to dissatisfaction with the functioning of the current deputy minister system.
According to a report by Nefes Gazetesi based on AKP sources, the deputy ministers, who serve in numbers ranging from 4 to 5 in each ministry, have begun to be questioned in terms of efficiency. It is stated that the factionalism occurring in some ministries, in particular, is negatively affecting operations and leading to serious problems.
