Letter from imprisoned journalist İsmail Arı: The wolf had already decided to eat the lamb
Journalist İsmail Arı, who was detained in Tokat while visiting his family for the Ramadan Feast and subsequently brought to Ankara and arrested, has sent a message to the public from Sincan Prison, where he is being held.
Stating that those who arrested him violated the law and committed a crime, Arı called on citizens to support independent journalism.
The full text of the message shared from Sincan Prison includes the following statements:
"I realized they had broken my pen the moment I was detained during my family visit.
They had been wanting to arrest me for the last year. In other words, the wolf had already decided to eat the lamb.
However, I will not be silenced. Those who arrested me have committed a crime.
Support journalists and good journalism. Best regards to everyone. Journalism will prevail!"
