Mansur Yavaş to be in Kahramanmaraş on February 6

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş is heading to the earthquake zone on the anniversary of the February 6 earthquakes. According to the report by İlayda Özmen from ANKA, Yavaş will be at the commemoration ceremony in the Elbistan district of Kahramanmaraş at 03:30 on February 6. 

Two years have passed since the February 6 earthquakes. As a result of the earthquake, at least 53 thousand 725 people lost their lives and 107 thousand 213 people were injured. Thousands of citizens migrated to other cities. On the second anniversary of the earthquake, ABB Mayor Mansur Yavaş will be in Kahramanmaraş. Yavaş, who will travel to Kahramanmaraş on February 5, will attend the commemoration program in Elbistan at 03:30 following his visits there.

Yavaş had participated in relief efforts in Kahramanmaraş, where he was assigned as the municipality during the February 6 earthquakes. Having been in Kahramanmaraş during the first year of the earthquake, Yavaş will continue his efforts in the same region in its second year.
