Midibus overturns in Maltepe: 1 dead, 7 injured
A midibus traveling on the D-100 highway in Maltepe overturned after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. One person lost their life and 7 people were injured in the accident. Following the incident, the Maltepe section of the D-100 highway was closed to traffic, and teams are continuing their work at the scene.
A midibus traveling in the direction of Ankara on the D-100 highway struck a concrete barrier and overturned after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. The driver of the vehicle was trapped underneath and lost their life in the accident, while 7 people were injured.
Due to the accident, the Maltepe section of the D-100 highway was closed to traffic. Work by emergency teams is ongoing in the area.
