Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca issued a warning ahead of the eve of the Ramadan Feast regarding the increase in traffic accidents. In his post on his X account, Koca stated, "Paying the penalty resulting from the violation of rules does not bring a person's life back. All journeys should be completed with happiness."
Koca's post is as follows:
"The life-saving efforts of 112 Emergency services must not be obstructed.
Unfortunately, more than 570 traffic accidents have occurred so far during the travels made for the Ramadan Feast. We invite all drivers to follow the rules and to facilitate the work of 112 Emergency Health Teams.
In Bolu, our teams had difficulty reaching the scene of a chain traffic accident due to the illegal use of the emergency lane. There are many examples of these critical moments for both accident victims and our teams. Paying the penalty resulting from the violation of rules does not bring a person's life back. All journeys should be completed with happiness."
112 Acilin hayat kurtarma çabasının önü kesilmemeli.
