Minister Şimşek makes statement on 'High-Level Economic Dialogue' meeting
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek announced via his social media account that the next meeting of the Turkey-EU High-Level Economic Dialogue will be held in Turkey.
In a statement on his social media account, Şimşek shared the information that the next meeting of the Turkey-EU High-Level Economic Dialogue will be held in Turkey.
Şimşek's statement is as follows:
"We held the Turkey-European Union High-Level Economic Dialogue meeting today in Brussels in a very constructive atmosphere after a 6-year hiatus.
In our productive meetings with our EU counterparts, a consensus was reached on developing economic relations and increasing cooperation in every field.
Furthermore, the modernization of the Customs Union and visa facilitation issues were discussed.
Deepening relations with Europe-based international financial institutions was evaluated. It was decided that the next meeting of the Turkey-EU High-Level Economic Dialogue will be held in our country."
