Minister Uraloğlu announces the latest status of Turkish ships in the Strait of Hormuz!
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced the latest status regarding the 15 Turkish ships located in the Strait of Hormuz; he stated that contact with the crews is ongoing and that there is currently no opportunity for evacuation.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu answered questions from members of the press regarding the agenda before the AKP group meeting.
Minister Uraloğlu made an assessment regarding the situation of Turkish ships located in the Strait of Hormuz, where a conflict environment is prevalent. Stating that developments in the region are being closely monitored, Uraloğlu expressed that teams are working to ensure the ships leave the region safely.
Speaking about the latest situation in Hormuz, Uraloğlu said, "The trouble in Hormuz continues. We are making efforts to see if we can get them out. There are 15 Turkish ships. We are in contact with all the crews. 3 ships have no request to leave. There has not been an opportunity to extract them yet. There is no humanitarian problem."
