Ministry of National Defense announces sad news: 1 soldier martyred
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that a soldier who fell ill in the Claw-Tiger operation region has passed away at the hospital where he was taken.
In a written statement from the MSB, it was stated: "In the Claw-Tiger Operation Region, on October 25, 2024, Tank Contracted Private Kander Babür, who fell ill at a base area, received initial intervention at the base infirmary and was transported by helicopter to Şehit Tümgeneral Aydoğan Aydın State Hospital for further examination and treatment.
Our heroic comrade-in-arms could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital and has been martyred.
We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation.”
