Murat Sancak released in football 'betting' and 'match-fixing' investigation
Former Adana Demirspor President Murat Sancak, who was in custody as part of an investigation into 'betting' and 'match-fixing' allegations in the football world, has been released under 'house arrest'.
The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations of 'betting' and 'match-fixing', which involves some referees, football players, and club officials who serve in football matches, is ongoing.
As part of the investigation, it was decided to release former Adana Demirspor President Murat Sancak, who was arrested on December 9, 2025, by applying judicial control measures in the form of 'house arrest'.
