New domestic defense industry products from Roketsan
At the IDEF 2025 Istanbul Expo Center, Roketsan introduced the GÖKBORA, AKATA, TAYFUN BLOCK-4, İHA-300, EREN, and ŞİMŞEK-2 weapons.
Roketsan General Manager Murat İkinci introduced the Gökbora missile.
Gökbora is an air-to-air missile. Designed to target UAVs and cruise missiles, Gökbora will be capable of being launched from the KAAN and Kızılelma.
Along with Gökbora, the EREN and İHA-300 missiles and the ŞİMŞEK 2 were also introduced.

AKATA Encapsulated ATMACA
• A submarine-launched version of the ATMACA anti-ship missile.
• Provides Turkey with the capability to fire guided missiles from underwater.
• Range: 250 km+
• High-explosive, fragmentation-effect warhead.
• A major contribution to the defense of the "Blue Homeland" (Mavi Vatan).
GÖKBORA Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile
• Developed for manned and unmanned aircraft.
• Lethal strike capability against enemy aerial targets.
• Range: More than 100 nautical miles (~185 km+)
• Superior guidance capability, one of the most powerful weapons of the air forces.
TAYFUN BLOCK-4 Hypersonic Missile
• Turkey's longest-range and national ballistic missile.
• The new BLOCK-4 version reaches record ranges at hypersonic speeds.
• Weight: 7 tons+
• Effective against strategic targets (air defenses, command centers, military facilities).
EREN High-Speed Multi-Purpose Loitering Munition
• Can be launched from UCAVs, helicopters, land, sea, and ground systems.
• Targets: aerial assets, armored/unarmored ground targets, personnel.
• Range: 100 km+
• Flexible use with long endurance and superior guidance capability.
300 ER Air-Launched Ballistic Missile
• Integrated into jets and UCAVs.
• The launch platform can strike strategic targets without entering enemy air defense threats.
• Range: 500 km+
• High speed, high precision, various warhead and guidance options.
ŞİMŞEK-2 Satellite Launch Vehicle
• Will carry Turkey further into space.
• Designed to place 1,500 kg satellites into sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 700+ km.
• A successor to the ŞİMŞEK-1, with the first test planned for 2027.
