New statement from Minister Tunç regarding the MOSSAD investigation

In a post on his social media account, Tunç made a statement regarding the progress of the MOSSAD investigation conducted by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Minister Tunç made the following statement on his account:

Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into suspects identified as having sold information they obtained to the Israeli intelligence service MOSSAD; 

Of the 7 suspects taken into custody, 6 have been arrested for the crime of 'obtaining information that must remain secret for the state for the purpose of political or military espionage,' and judicial control measures have been applied to 1 suspect.

Within the scope of the investigations and prosecutions that have been opened and ongoing at different times since October 2021, 57 suspects and defendants remain in custody, and the number of those arrested for the same crime has risen to 63.
