Northeasterly wind causes disruptions to maritime transport in Tekirdağ
The northeasterly wind has caused disruptions to maritime transport in Tekirdağ. Fishermen will not set sail until the wind loses its effect.
The northeasterly wind, which is effective in the Sea of Marmara, is negatively affecting maritime transport in Tekirdağ.
Due to the northeasterly wind, which occasionally reaches speeds of 40 kilometers, 15 domestic and foreign-flagged freighters and tankers have anchored off the coast of Tekirdağ.

Fishermen were unable to set sail today due to the strong wind.
İbrahim Pehlivanoğlu, President of the Tekirdağ Süleymanpaşa Fisheries Cooperative, told an AA reporter that the wind occasionally increases in intensity and that fishermen will wait at the port until the northeasterly wind loses its effect.
In the city, where the air temperature is measured at 27 degrees, the northeasterly wind is expected to remain effective until Thursday.
