Korkulu, along with her lawyer Mustafa Dinç, held a press conference in front of the Aydın Courthouse, stating that she would defend both her own situation and other employees who have been victimized in a similar manner. "I am here today before you to defend my rights and to file a criminal complaint on behalf of many colleagues and fellow workers whose livelihoods have been jeopardized," said Korkulu, emphasizing that Atatürk's legacy belongs not to those who submit, but to those who seek their rights.
