MECHANICAL FAILURE IN LANDING GEAR DOORS
Officials stated that a problem occurred in the hydraulic system because the landing gear doors remained open. It was observed that the landing gear doors of the Airbus A320 type aircraft did not close during the landing, and one thrust reverser failed to operate. Aviation experts indicated that such a malfunction could be caused by issues within the hydraulic system.
Manchester Airport authorities announced that the aircraft had reported a technical issue and that all safety procedures were fully implemented. It was reported that no one was injured in the incident and the aircraft has been taken in for maintenance.
