Person wanted with Interpol red notice found in Konya
In Konya, a person wanted by Interpol with a red notice was captured as a result of an operation by police teams.
Teams from the Konya Provincial Police Department's Anti-Migrant Smuggling Branch stopped an individual acting suspiciously on Sultan Cem Street in the İhsaniye neighborhood.
As a result of the identity check, it was determined that the individual was a Syrian national identified as E.H., who had a finalized prison sentence of 11 years and 3 months for the crimes of "escape of a convict or detainee" and "intentional injury."
It was also determined that E.H. was wanted by Interpol with a red notice and had a "voluntary return" record. E.H., who was taken into custody, was sent to prison following police procedures.
