In his assessment regarding the absolute nullity ruling, Saraç had used the following expressions:

“There is a decision here that is not legal. It is a completely political decision. We have been experiencing these political decisions in Turkey for a long time. The absolute nullity ruling is also a very clear political decision; it is a decision desired by the government. And in the background of this desire, there is the intention to deepen the debate within the CHP as much as possible.”
