According to allegations, a female Spanish teacher took her 14-year-old student to her home and sexually abused her. Following these repeated incidents, the teacher was arrested and sent to prison.
A 28-year-old Spanish teacher working at a private college in Gaziosmanpaşa, Istanbul, took one of her students to her home and sexually abused her repeatedly.
The teacher, who defended herself by claiming, "I did not know she was under 15," was sentenced to 14 years and 7 months in prison.
According to a report by Ekol TV, the student's father discovered the situation and filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office. Although the teacher, who was taken into custody, tried to defend herself by saying, "I did not know she was under 15," she could not avoid being arrested.
The teacher, who remained in custody for 4 months, was released after her trial began.
The Spanish teacher was sentenced to 14 years and 7 months in prison.
