The Ministry of Trade announced that customs duties applied by the Syrian side as of January 11 will be reviewed for certain products. The Ministry stated that this change is valid for all countries and is applied equally.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Following the end of the Bashar al-Assad administration in Syria and the rise to power of HTS (Hayat Tahrir al-Sham) forces, there had been a significant increase in customs duties with Turkey.
