The address is Turkey again: Person wanted by Interpol for 12 years has been caught

The individual, who killed his wife during an argument in Germany in 2005 and has been wanted by Interpol with a red notice for 12 years, was caught at a hotel in Antalya's Konyaaltı district using an ID card in someone else's name.

Teams from the Antalya Provincial Police Department determined that Nasif A., who was wanted by the Konya 1st High Criminal Court for the crime of "premeditated murder with monstrous feeling or by causing torment" in connection with the 2005 murder of Angelika Cristina Aydın in Germany, and who had been sought by Interpol with a red notice for 12 years, was staying at a hotel in the Konyaaltı district. The teams conducted an operation and apprehended Nasif A. with an identity document issued in the name of A.G.

In his statement, the suspect said that he met the foreign national Angelika Cristina Aydın in Turkey, then went to Germany and married her, committed the murder in Germany following an argument between them on the date of the crime, returned to Turkey through illegal means, and had been using the old identity document belonging to A.G. since 2013, when the person renewed their identity document.

The apprehended Nasif A. was referred to the courthouse.
