THY and Pegasus cancel nearly 200 flights in Istanbul
Due to adverse weather conditions, Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines have canceled their flights in Istanbul.
The rain that began in Istanbul yesterday evening gave way to downpours and storms in the morning hours.
Due to the adverse weather conditions affecting the Marmara Region, some ferry services operated by City Lines, as well as Bursa Sea Buses (BUDO) and Istanbul Sea Buses (İDO) services, have been canceled.
FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS
In accordance with the decision of MADKOM (Meteorological Emergency Committee), it was stated that flights departing from Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport could not be operated due to adverse weather.
While Pegasus has canceled 82 flights, Turkish Airlines has canceled a total of 105 flights for tomorrow, including 82 from Istanbul Airport and 23 from Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
