Trustees appointed to Flash TV and Pozitif Bank

The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has been appointed as trustee to 23 companies, including Pozitifbank, Payfix, and Flash TV, which were seized as part of an illegal betting investigation.

A dawn operation was conducted against 59 individuals, including Erkan Kork, the owner of Pozitifbank, Payfix Payment Institution, and Flash TV, as part of an illegal betting investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crime Investigation Bureau. Within the scope of the investigation conducted for the crimes of "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing a crime," "laundering assets derived from crime," and "violation of Law No. 7258 on the Regulation of Betting and Games of Chance in Football and Other Sports Competitions," it was alleged that Erkan Kork was the leader of the organization.

Assets belonging to the alleged organization members, including 17 residences, 9 plots of land, 1 office, 13 vehicles, and the suspects' personal accounts and crypto wallets, were seized; additionally, 23 companies and a total of 114 vehicles belonging to these companies were seized, along with the companies' partnership shares and company crypto wallets, with a total estimated financial impact of 6 billion 900 million Turkish Lira.

According to the statement, the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has been appointed as trustee to 23 companies, including Pozitifbank, Payfix Payment Institution, and Flash TV, owned by Erkan Kork.
