Undergoing cancer treatment: CHP mayor admitted to intensive care

It has been learned that CHP's Şehzadeler Mayor Gülşah Durbay is being monitored in intensive care as part of her cancer treatment.

A statement regarding Mayor Durbay was issued by the Şehzadeler Municipality. The statement from the Şehzadeler Municipality said, "As is known, our Mayor, Ms. Gülşah Durbay, who has been receiving cancer treatment for some time, went to Manisa City Hospital for her routine treatment on Monday, December 1, and was admitted to the intensive care unit for observation purposes upon the recommendation of her doctors to ensure her treatment continues more effectively. While our Mayor's general condition is good, she will be discharged from the hospital in a healthier state following her treatment. We state that we will provide updates if necessary; we kindly request that no speculation be given credence without an official statement. We thank all our fellow citizens who have shared their well wishes."

Manisa Metropolitan Mayor Besim Dutlulu also shared a post on social media regarding Durbay's current health status.

I have learned that the treatment of our Şehzadeler Mayor Gülşah Durbay is continuing in intensive care for monitoring purposes.

She is a very strong woman… Her health condition is improving significantly. I sincerely believe that she will overcome this process as well.
